Work together stay apart logoThe story behind our logo and project name.

The name of the project captures what is at the heart of this campaign; that in order to address airborne conflict, we all need to work together.

The logo incorporates elements of:

  • the shape of a plane wing as an instantly recognisable shape in aviation;
  • the interlocking and uniform shape of a zip and the strong bond it forms; and
  • the team effort is takes to paddle a waka using alternating paddle strokes.

The alternating wings of the logo show a staggered and measured approach to 'stay apart'. The upwards movement of the overall shape displays the collaboration and ability to 'work together'. The two shades of blue highlight the two parts or two planes. The bold and light font weights further emphasise the two statements of the logo.
