Desktop registration recommended: To register for MyAviation, we recommend doing so from your desktop computer with your smartphone nearby. Two-factor authentication is required for the registration process.
Mobile registration with Chrome or Firefox: If you prefer to register on your mobile phone, we recommend using either the Chrome or Firefox browser for the best experience.
Check your browser: To confirm which browser you are using on your mobile device, you can search your app library or use the search function on your phone.
Install Chrome or Firefox: If you don't already have Chrome or Firefox on your mobile device, you can find and install them from the Apple Store or Google Play Store. It's important to set one of these browsers as your default browser. This step is crucial for opening the registration link when you receive your registration email.
Browser choice importance: If you don't select one of these recommended browsers, you may encounter difficulties entering your date of birth on the registration page. Additionally, when you receive your registration email, you will need to long-press (hold your finger down) on the 'Register here' button to open it.
Missing registration email: If you haven't received the registration email and you already hold a licence, please check your other email addresses. We may have sent the email to an address on file. If you need to change your email address, please use the online form to contact us with your request.
There is no minimum time for processing an application. Your application may move through several assessment stages. You can view status updates within MyAviation under ‘View previous requests’.
We prefer to receive documents as PDFs. MyAviation also accepts Word, JPG, PNG and other static image files. MyAviation does not accept video, gif or email files.
The maximum file size is 20MB per item, and 100MB per MyAviation task.
If your application is missing a key document, our licensing advisors will reach out during the assessment and ask you to upload it via a special MyAviation task.

Your email is attached to an existing CAA participant number. Please try registering with your CAA participant number. If you don’t know your number please use the online form to request help.
This error message can happen if the details you supply do not exactly match your record in the CAA database. Please take a screenshot of the registration page including the error message, and use the online form to request help.
