This Advisory Circular (AC) describes an acceptable means of compliance with Civil Aviation Rules, Part 21 Certification of Products and Parts, Subpart K and Part 43 General Maintenance Rules, Subpart B, relating to the use of acceptable parts on type certificated aircraft.
This AC relates specifically to Civil Aviation Rules, Part 21 Certification of Products and Parts, Subpart K, Part 43 General Maintenance Rules, and Part 145 Aircraft Maintenance Organisations—Certifications.
Revision 4 deletes the last part of note 1 in Section 5.2, referring to certificated organisations, to align with AC43-3, Parts Documentation - CAA Form Two - New Zealand Domestic Part Label.
