This Advisory Circular (AC) describes an acceptable means of compliance with the requirements on the use of aerodromes under Part 139 in relation to day-VFR aerodrome design.
This AC is intended for the operator of an aeroplane at or below 5700 kg MCTOW that is engaged in day-VFR air transport operations.
This AC relates specifically to Part 139, and rule 91.127 Use of aerodromes.
Revision 3 removes a reference to a rule that has been revoked, and aligns some language to current AC style.
