This Advisory Circular (AC) describes an acceptable means of compliance with the notification requirements under Civil Aviation Rule Part 157 Notice of Construction, Alteration, Activation, and Deactivation of Aerodromes.
This AC is intended for any person proposing to construct, alter, activate, or deactivate an aerodrome to which Part 157 applies, of the requirement to notify the Director of their plans. It also outlines some of the airspace utilisation factors which should be considered early.
This AC relates specifically to Civil Aviation Rule Part 157, Rule 157.7 Notice of intent.
Revision 2 re-formats and re-numbers this advisory circular from AC157-1A to AC157-1 as part of a project to standardise the numbering of all ACs.
