The objective of Part 95 is to achieve and maintain an acceptable level of safety in operations through the promulgation and notification of instrument flight procedures.

The instrument flight procedures referred to in this rule part are for use by aircraft operating under instrument flight rules (IFR) in the New Zealand FIR and in the Auckland Oceanic FIR.
