This is an old Rule from the 1990 Act and is revoked under 489(3) of the Civil Aviation Act 2023.

Current Rules under the 2023 Act

Part 125 prescribes what requirements the holder of a Part 119 Airline Air Operator Certificate needs to satisfy, to conduct operations using an aircraft that has:

  1. a passenger seating configuration of 10 to 30 seats; or
  2. a payload capacity of 3410 kg or less and a MCTOW of greater than 5700 kg; or
  3. a single engine and is carrying passengers under IFR.
