This Advisory Circular (AC) describes an acceptable means of compliance with the syllabus content in respect of written examinations for Subject 1B (Aeronautical Science – Electrical Fundamentals). It is intended to be read in conjunction with Part 66 Subpart B of the rule. If there are any conflicts between the AC and the rule, the rule takes precedence.
This AC relates specifically to Civil Aviation Rule Part 66 Subpart B – Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence.
Revision 4 adds a note on the online application process, updates the ASPEQ email address in section Examination Overview: Subject 1B and adds a version history.
