Following on from the successful event held in Christchurch in August, Aviation New Zealand will be running a further senior persons’ workshop in Taupo on Tuesday 28 November.

This workshop is for existing and prospective Part 102, 135, 137, 145 and 141 Senior & Prime persons.

Theme: Understanding and undertaking senior person roles effectively

Outcomes: Participants better understand their responsibilities to CAA, their responsibilities to their organisation, key elements of their role and can encourage pathways to senior persons.

Programme includes:

  • Regulatory requirements
  • Building a team culture
  • Safety culture - what does great look like?
  • Tools for the senior persons interview
  • Performing as a senior person
  • Who would want to be a senior person

The workshop will be facilitated by Aviation New Zealand Executive Officers Richard Milner and Tony Michelle along with key staff from the Civil Aviation Authority.

Spaces are limited and the price is discounted for Aviation New Zealand members.
